Resis Chitin: Apocalypse Mech presents itself as a multiplayer strategic cooperative experience that intricately blends level-based shooting mechanics with team combat.

In the level mode, players are tasked with collaborating closely to fend off relentless assaults from an insect nest while gradually reclaiming territories overrun by these pests. A sense of urgency permeates the gameplay as reports of a colossal insect shadow lurking in the darkness remind players to maintain ample ammunition reserves.

The team shooting mode divides players into red and blue robot factions, where they vie for control over military bases, trenches, and fortifications in a bid to accumulate points for their respective teams. Victory is awarded to the team that secures the most points within the set timeframe, underscoring the game's core emphasis on strategy and collaboration. Continuous communication among teammates is vital, given the threats posed by snipers and armored tanks from the opposing side.

Players have diverse tactical options at their disposal: descending into battle in a robot to confront overwhelming odds, maneuvering a tank through the fray to dominate enemies, or strategically positioning a machine gun to defend critical points, preventing enemy advances.
